The Opportunity
As a Project Coordinator you will be responsible for the co-ordination of project/program management activities in support of the LLW Portfolio Management Office. As well as leading projects as Project Manager, the role co-ordinates the activities of LLW project/program managers across the program/project lifecycle.
The role will also include:
- Lead medium level projects across all aspects of the project management lifecycle (for example, service establishment)
- Manage logistics set-up of new services, including procurement of furniture and associated amenities such as utilities, ICT and fit out.
- Provide program coordination support to LLW project and program managers.
- Support the establishment of a project portfolio system including development of project management methodology tools and templates, procedures and supporting tools
What you will bring to the role:
- Applied knowledge of project management principles ideally with tertiary qualifications in Project Management.
- 2 to 5 years' experience in administration/co-ordination of organisational processes.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and negotiate practical outcomes with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Strong written skills, able to write/compile reports with limited guidance.
- Strong organisational skills, with the demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple priorities and drive to achieve results.
- Highly developed skills using MS suite of applications (Excel, Visio & Project).
- Understanding of the community services and health industry (particularly AOD and mental health) is desirable
