You would need to be available to work day and night shift.
Fixed term contract, 12 months, 22.5 hours each week.
The position reports to the Team Leader.
To be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate that you have a range of skills and knowledge, including the following:-
1. Demonstrated experience in leading and supporting staff in a crisis setting.
2. Demonstrated experience and/or skills in providing practical and emotional support to people, including children experiencing homelessness and/or family/domestic violence, including case planning and accessing needs.
3. Demonstrated experience, confidence in negotiation, conflict and advocacy
4. The ability to engage women and children/youths and achieve outcomes for vulnerable people.
5. Skills in the use of Microsoft word, email and internet.
6. High level of written communication
7. Capacity to work autonomously and to lead and manage diverse tasks within a team environment in a crisis setting.
8. Minimum Diploma level qualification, tertiary qualification in social or behavioural sciences or similar desirable;
9. A minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
