About the role
Working for the Disability Employment Services (DES) section of the organisation, we have a current requirement for an Employment Consultant to work at our Penrith site (may also be required to work at our Outreach sites in Windsor & Katoomba). This is a Full Time maximum term contract position to 30 June 2023.
Duties
As an Employment Consultant you will provide expert advice and support to place clients into sustainable employment in line with their abilities, including:
- Promoting WISE brand and services and ensuring high level customer service provided to clients, employers and community;
Assessing the clients readiness for employment including skills and abilities, realistic and relevant employment opportunities and potential;
Providing effective support to clients throughout job search activity, training and work experience and other activities;
Marketing clients to employers to source sustainable employment outcomes;
- Providing on-going support to clients placed in employment through regular contact and engagement with the candidate and employer.
