Job Prospects (a division of SYC) is a leading jobactive and Disability Employment Services – Employment Support Service (DES-ESS) provider that works with jobseekers to gain and sustain employment and with employers to recruit and maintain their workforce. Job Prospects provided services to more than 47,700 people of all ages last year.
As part of our latest success in securing additional DES Contracts, we are now seeking Disability Employment Consultants to work across the Peninsula/Monash ESA.
The DES Employment Consultant's responsibilities include actively engaging DES job seekers and assisting them to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
Duties of the successful applicant include:
- Reverse marketing jobseekers to employers to gain employment.
- Referring jobseekers to: Employment opportunities, Vocational Training, Non-Vocational programs, Work Experience Activities.
- Providing Post Placement Support to employers and jobseekers placed in employment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a successful results driven team is desirable.
- Proven experience in a sales and/or customer contact role is desirable.
- Previous experience in the Disability Employment Services Industry is desirable.
