Altaira Nursing Services is seeking Personal Carers Kitchen Hands, Cooks and Domestics for residential (nursing home) and community work in Darwin's metropolitan and rural areas.​ 

We are also in special need of Medication Comped Carers to assist clients with medication administration in the community.

We have a contract with a major provider commencing on August 1st - join us now to be ready to start in August!.

For residential aged care you will need to have access to reliable transport and experience in residential aged care.

For community work you will need to have your own reliable car with valid registration and be willing to drive clients to appointments, shopping etc - you do not need extra insurance. Mileage is payable when you are travelling with and between clients.

You choose when you want to work!

7 day roster - AM PM and ND shifts. You choose your own hours with our flexible and easy to use online system: log when you are available/unavailable to work with no 'cut off' period.

Essential:

National Police Clearance - Aged Care specific

First Aid Certificate

Certificate 3 in Aged Care or Individual Support (for PCWs only)

Preferred for community work:

HLTHPS006 - Assist Clients with Medication or other recognised medication administration certificate/accreditation (completed or updated within the last year).
