Direct Recruitment is a highly successful 5 Star jobactive Provider and has been providing employment services to job seekers and employers across 12 sites in Melbourne, plus we have commenced DES and ParentsNext programs in July.

We have a 12 month maternity leave positon at our Dandenong site, with a possibility of permanency.
We're looking for a 5 STAR Employment Consultant!

Duties:
- To deliver Direct Recruitment's employment services to job seekers and employers and assist job seekers into sustainable employment
- Work with the job seekers referred through Direct Recruitment's Employment Services contract (jobactive)
- Ensure job seekers are meeting their Mutual Obligation Requirements
- Monitor the participation, job search and job seekers in Work for the Dole activities
- Identify jobs for job seekers and ensure they apply for and accept any suitable jobs for which they are eligible
- Conduct various contact interviews with job seekers
- Place job seekers into sustainable employment and provide post-placement support to job seekers
What we need:
- Employment Services (jobactive) experience essential
- Goal-oriented with the ability to meet Key Performance Indicators
- Efficient administration and demonstrated time-management skills
- Ability to work in accordance with our policies and procedures, the Employment Services Code of Practice and all contractual requirements of the Department of Jobs and Small Business
- Able to successfully pass a police check & have (or able to obtain) a Working With Children's Check
