Senior Case Worker Position (temporary)
Full time or part time (12 month contract)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Case Worker for a 12-month contract to work full time or part time in Settlement Services. The position requires someone with a social work or relevant qualifications and experience in the delivery and coordination of client services for migrants and refugees.

Selection Criteria:
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or equivalent with at least 3 years’ experience as a Social Worker or related discipline.
- Substantial experience in casework management and the effective and efficient delivery of services to clients;
- Recent demonstrated experience in the management of staff including performance management and review;
- Well-developed planning, implementation review and evaluation skills in service delivery;
- High level communication skills and interpersonal skills, including written and oral skills, consultation, negotiation, advocacy, presentation and liaison;
- Commitment to the values of IMS;
- Possession of a “Working with Children Check” or ability to acquire one;
- Current NSW Drivers Licence.
Desirable:
- Second language other than English;
- Eligibility for membership/registration of AASW or appropriate professional association.
