The Role

This full time permanent role is suited to a customer service professional, with a can do attitude, and a solutions focused approach.  As co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the work allocation and rostering of community support professionals. You will be maintaining a positive and effective team environment and the coordination of support to clients accessing services, predominately NDIS and home care packages ; ensuring the effective coordination and partnership with key support services and providers within the region. Ensuring the ongoing delivery of quality service provisions and policy and process requirements are compliant with funding and statutory bodies requirements at all times.

You will be assist families to access innovative support services, managing customer service schedules, prepare and transmit schedule to support staff, you will need to use your time management skills effectively to quickly find solutions to cover staff absences, shift changes and non-complaint customers.  

Developing, implementing and monitoring efficient and effective operating and administrative systems, including providing feedback to case managers and third party stakeholders.

To Be Successful

  • Current working with children check
  • Current and clear criminal history check
  • Positive solutions focused approach, excellent customer service skills
  • Experience in the delivery of out-of-home care services, including assessment and monitoring processes
  • Experience in co-ordinating a multi-disciplinary team of professional or para-professional staff
  • High level of awareness of issues effecting the disability, aged care and community health sectors
  • Strong written and computer skills for the creation of plans, programs, reports, correspondence and other documents
  • High level communication, relationships building and problem solving skills. Experience working towards Targets and KPIS.
