The People We Support in our living care program are typically aged between adolescent to mature age. They come from a range of backgrounds and prior life experiences including situations where they have experienced complex trauma or been in care for a long period of time. An adventurous spirit and openness to learning are essential!

The successful applicant must possess excellent people skills, a flexible approach, be responsive to the needs of the people being supported and be prepared to develop and maintain a great team culture. You must demonstrate respect for human values, community and family. You will assist a team in supporting the people we support to build skills, socialise, develop connections and relationships, and further develop their personal interests (including sport, swimming, gardening, bike riding, etc.) as well as explore new opportunities.

The full time Coordinator position is a combination of team leadership and mentoring, administration, staffing and resource planning for a variety of services. This position will suit applicants with experience in supporting people with a wide range of needs and aspirations, including but not limited to intellectual disabilities, challenging behaviors and diverse communication needs. The ability to think quickly will align well in this environment. It is desirable that you will hold tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Community Services and/or equivalent experience in service delivery in disability services.

The Coordinator will be required to apply their skills and experience to services located across Victoria and will be expected to travel across the State in line with operational requirements.
