Tradewind are currently recruiting for an experienced practitioner for a flexible part time contract.
This role will involve providing education to disability clients on reproduction and sexual health. This may be delivered through a 1-to-1 or group session. You may be required to provide secondary consultations to carers, families and other community professionals. A portion of this role will involve comprehensive reporting and administration, giving you a balance of client contact and office work.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Counselling or Psychology
- Active registration with AASW, ACA or PBA
- Demonstrated experience in intake, assessment and counselling clients with a cognitive disability
- Working knowledge of reproductive and sexual health
You will also be willing to undergo police and Working with Children Checks, as well as providing 2 recent managerial references.
