These roles will work within our Community Inclusion and Support Department at one of our Centre Based Day Programs. These positions work with limited supervision and involve assisting people with a disability with daily living skills, community inclusion and participation activities.
This role would be well suited to someone who is passionate about supporting and achieving positive outcomes for others
Key Responsibilities for this position include:
- Supporting people with a disability in achieving life learning, recreation, employment and educational goals and aspirations
- Engage with people with complex care (including Behaviours of Concern) to support achievement and encourage further independence
- Provide personal care, living skills, transport, other services and supports
The successful applicant will have:
- First Aid Qualification
- NSW Driver's Licence
- Ability to work with participants who exhibit Behaviours of Concern
- 1 x Position is required to be a Male specific candidate
These Positions are Permanent Part Time, ranging from 60-65 hours per fortnight (Monday- Friday) . Covered under the SCHADS Award, also offered is salary packaging and leave loading. A copy of the job description can be found Here.
