Our Customer Contact Centre is seeking a professional and enthusiastic, customer-focused individual to answer incoming customer accommodation enquiries via phone, fax and email. The position requires you to ensure that our customer’s needs are met by providing accurate and relevant information in response to all enquiries and to make appointments for the enquirers with our sales personnel. Use your customer service & sales skills to assist people through one of life’s major transitions.

This role is a Casual position covering staff leave.

Key responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Answering incoming calls from customers
  • Responding to email enquiries
  • Explaining product information, legislation, terms & conditions
  • Explaining the financial implications of residential care, Home Care, and Retirement Living
  • Making outbound calls to gather information or qualify prospects.

Skills, knowledge and experience needed:

Essential:

  • Customer service experience in a fast paced contact centre (preferably acquisition) environment
  • A demonstrated ability to manage priorities and to work to deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Can demonstrate alignment with Anglicare Vision Mission and Values, as the first point of contact for Anglicare.

Desirable: 

  • Experience working in aged care
  • Experience using the cisco phone system
  • CCM and Epicor SLS systems knowledge
