The IFYS Residential Program supports young people between 12 - 17 years of age in out of home care.Our aim is to provide a safe, dependable and nurturing living environment for these young people.

Our Rockhampton Residential Care Program currently have a full-time Senior Therapeutic Case Worker position available.

The Senior Therpeutic Case Worker is required to supervise and support other Therapeutic Case Workers within the IFYS Ltd Residential Care Services program, alongside the Residential Care Coordinator.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Support young people displaying challenging and/or complex behaviours to achieve agreed goals and create partnerships aimed at improving client outcomes.
• Provide a high level of operational support to the Residential Care Coordinator.
• Timely and accurate completion of administrative duties, petty cash, case notes, time sheets and incident reports in line with legislative and contract requirements.
• Work within a team to ensure key accountabilities are maintained.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A high understanding of trauma informed care and working with challenging behaviours.
• Experience working in a similar field or relevant qualifications.
• Demonstrated history of leadership.
• Ability to work autonomously.
