Servicing the community of South-Western Sydney for more than 30 years our client provides advice, representation and/or referral information to low income or disadvantaged members of the community who are in need of legal advice.
This newly created role offers the successful candidate an opportunity to really make an impact.
Responsibilities include -
- Build and maintain partnerships with a variety of stakeholders to improve the profile of the service
- Develop and coordinate Community Education programs
- Organise and coordinate events to assist in the promotion of services
- Develop and coordinate social media initiatives to promote events and/or increase knowledge of services provided
- Design and produce various communications and promotional materials suitable for target audiences
- Be comfortable with public speaking to convene, participate in and contribute to community working groups, forums, networking events etc
- Keep abreast of relevant policy and social issues that affect the community and community sector in South-Western Sydney
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a part time role working 21 hours per week over either three or four days. This would initially be a 12 month contract (with renewal subject to funding)
