About the Role
As a Disability Employment Coach, you will make a difference in the lives of job seekers with a disability by creating a person centered case management for eligible participants, assessing and evaluating the job plan that will assist in maintaining an ongoing focus on gaining employment for the job seeker. You will be required to build and maintain relationships with our job seekers and employers. This role is permanent full time role, working Monday to Friday.
The role will require a genuine passion for working with those in need, an ability to meet individual targets and contribute to a strong site team.
What we're looking for
- Ability to interpret and apply both corporate and operational policies and procedure;
- You will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build positive relationships among a diverse range of job seekers and employers;
- Strong mentoring and motivational skills to develop positive relationships with all stakeholders including staff;
- Current unrestricted Driver’s licence.
- Certificate IV in Disability/Employment Services or equivalent;
- Previous experience working in the Service or in Disability Employment Services industry will be highly regarded;
- Strong negotiating skills to secure customised jobs for job seekers with a disability;
- Be able to receive and deliver constructive feedback;
- High attention to detail with strong time management skills to be able to manage a balanced administration work load;
- Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite with the ability to type a minimum of 30 wpm; and
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Remuneration
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. By way of guidance, the base salary would be in the range of $50K to $57K FTE plus superannuation. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
