About the opportunity
Working as a community clinical nurse you will lead, motivate & develop your clinical team ensuring that a high level of person centred clinical care is provided to clients within the Cairns & surrounding areas.
Utilising your excellent communication & management skills, you will provide overall clinical guidance & advice to clients surrounding their clinical care, conducting in home client assessments ensuring care, lifestyle & needs are met & maintained within package & organisational guidelines, ensuring compliance indicators are met at all times.
Having previous experience with the training & development of clinical team members, you will be a collaborative leader with the ability to recognise areas for improvements/educational opportunities for your team.
Duties
- Provide clinical care & advice to clients within the community
- Undertaking client assessments
- Accurate completion of relevant documentation
- Review & update client documentation
- Motivation, training & development of clinical team members
- Ensure compliance & quality indicators are met
Skills and Experience
- AHPRA registration
- Experience working within a similar role within the community
- Understanding of client care packages
- Leadership experience
- Ability to work autonomously
- Flexibility to travel within a geographical region
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
