Exciting opportunity to help develop and deliver community renewable energy now available!
Renewable Albury Wodonga Energy Inc (RAW Energy Inc) is an incorporated community energy group. Its vision is “Locally generated renewable energy meeting community needs”.
RAW Energy Inc has successfully obtained a grant to develop a solar project in alignment with the completed 2017/18 business case. This project has been funded by the Victorian Climate Change & Innovation Grant.
We seek a person to provide support to the project team and the RAW Energy Inc committee for the development of the Wodonga Community Solar Project.
This is a contractor position, therefore an ABN and applicable insurances are required.
The successful contractor will, acting under the direction of the Project Team:
- Work in conjunction with RAW Energy Inc., stakeholders and other agencies to pursue community energy and related project outcomes to help deliver the project
- Act as the key community contact point for RAW Energy Inc.
- Instruct and supervise consultants undertaking work to achieve agreed outcomes
- Liaise with stakeholders, RAW Energy Inc. Committee and government authorities to progress the objectives of the funding program.
- Prepare, manage and review budgets for the project for consideration by RAW Energy Inc. and government stakeholders.
