The Organisation
Our client is one of the leading not-for-profit providers of residential care, in-home care, respite care and retirement living in Victoria. It provides older people, their families and carers with outstanding levels of customer service and individualised care, when they need it.
 
The Position
As a Quality and Compliance Executive you will partner with stakeholders  to develop and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure the organisation delivers positive, enjoyable, fulfilling and safe services through excellence in care and service delivery.

In addition to the above, specific accountabilities include:
implement quality assurance processes and monitoring systems, including audit schedules and training
contribute to organisational quality and compliance reporting requirements
 
You will also support a culture of continual quality improvement that ensures good governance and operating efficiencies and the ongoing maintenance of organisation-wide compliance requirements.
 
The Person
To be considered for this wonderful opportunity you should ideally have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, e.g. quality management, aged care, human services, health, or are studying towards it.
 
Essential skills:
  • Experience in the Aged Care or a related sector  
  • Experience developing, implementing and/or maintaining quality systems
  • Experience in leading and overseeing audit/assurance processes against the aged care (or similar) standards  
  • Experience using continual quality improvement processes (e.g. PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma)  
  • Experience using process mapping and improvement skills to support effective change management  
The appointment is subject to a satisfactory police check
 
The offer
An attractive base salary of $80,000 plus statutory superannuation (pro-rated for part-time 0.8) will be offered to the successful candidate. Full PBI/Not for Profit packaging is also available.
