RISE Ventures delivers the Community Development Programme (CDP) on behalf of PMC in the Western Tablelands. CDP is a holistic program aimed at engaging communities and their people, providing communities with support through: consultation; community funding; community development; education, training and Employment Services.
We are looking for a local employee to work with RISE and the community in the Kuranda and surrounds where the position will be based.
Core responsibilities of the Service Coordinator
- Engage with whole community including participants, elders, council and youth
- Deliver CDP services to participants via strengths based approach and Individualised service plans
- Actively participate in a whole of centre approach to transitioning our participants into sustainable employment / education and keeping them there for a minimum of 26 weeks
- Encouraging and motivating participants through appropriate activities to find their own employment.
