Wintringham provides aged care services to those who are financially disadvantaged and have previously been homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless. Eunice Seddon Home, located in Melbourne's South East offers affordable, high quality accommodation to 60 men and women aged 50 years and over. We provide a safe, flexible and caring family-style environment which allows residents to maintain their chosen lifestyles, habits and activities and to be as independent as they choose to be.
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Enrolled Endorsed Nurse to join our team at Eunice Seddon on a Casual basis. This position may cover morning, afternoon and night shifts, undertaking a general EEN role. Successful applicants will have a Certificate IV / Diploma in Nursing (with current Registration at AHPRA). It is essential that applicants have excellent communication skills and an understanding of the special needs of older people.
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Prior experience in Nursing Care is required
- Prior supervisory experience in Aged Care will be looked on favourably
- Food service experience will be looked on favourably
- The capability to work independently
- The ability to enhance or maintain our residents independence and lifestyle
- A friendly and non judgemental attitude
