About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join us, overseeing and supporting our growing team in Melbourne. As the Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating operations, identifying areas for improvement, making recommendations and implementing changes. Your team will include a number of 'Client Service Officers' who have responsibility for the rostering and scheduling of our Support Workers. This will include direct reports who supervise and oversee the Client Service Officers in their day to day work as well as Support Worker Team Leaders who support and supervise our Support Worker team.

 

The role will support the implementation of organisational projects. A key focus of this role will be placed on leading the transformation of our rostering & scheduling with the goal of revising scheduling practices to improve support worker utilisation, reduce travel time and build client flexibility to achieve cost effective service delivery.

 

Strong support systems are provided through working closely with the Senior Service Coordinator and Area Manager as this is a role that Calvary sees as essential to our organisation’s long-term success. Integral to your success in this role will be your ability to engage and inspire your team, using your leadership skills to ensure a consistently high standard of service delivery.

  • A problem-solving style with the ability to influence colleagues in different parts of the organisation
  • Knowledge of funding guidelines associated with a variety of state and commonwealth funding sources
