Casual Support Worker | Ipswich
Wellways is a not for profit organisation providing quality services to our clients across Ipswich. Focused on going the extra mile for our clients, our committed and caring staff are our foundation and the key to our success! We are currently seeking new staff to join our team of Community Support Workers for clients in Ipswich.
The successful worker will be someone with the flexibility to work short and long shifts and at times covering for other team members.
We have a lot of work currently available right across the Ipswich and Brisbane region, with inquiries from new clients wanting support services through us daily!
To join our team, you must have the following requirements:
Essential:
- First Aid Certificate
- Driver's License and your own vehicle
- Personal Care experience
- Experience in community care
- Practical, active and caring personality
- Police clearance
- Working with Children’s Check
- Blue & Yellow card (Current)
Desirable:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability or Community Services
- Experience working with complex clients
- Experience with peg feeding and/or hydrotherapy
- Bowel care training
- Manual handling training
