ECH At Home Services Programs provide a comprehensive range of at Home services that support people who are 50+ to do what is important to them, at home and in the community.  

The role of Home Services Lead you will be responsible for the day to day supervision of a large team of home support workers that are providing support to our members. You will coordinate the operational business requirements such as the coordination of team members, Work Health and Safety processes and assist with managing defined projects within the Home Services portfolio.

We are seeking candidates with experience managing large teams including induction, coaching/mentoring, performance development and management. Ideally we are also after exposure to budget development and management and implementation of processes for the Home Service team.

This exciting role will also oversee the delivery of high quality service to increase member experience, ensuring contribution to process development & quality assurance. You will possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a flexible approach to work.

Essential for the role:

  • Extensive experience leading a large team of operational staff in a community service setting
  • Well developed communication skills with the ability to relate effectively with a wide range of people
  • An understanding of the Home Care Packages Program Guidelines (August 2013)
  • Highly developed skills in working with records and information management in an electronic environment
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment, including the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to produce clear, concise, accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Cert IV in Aged Care or Community Services (or equivalent) or above
  • A current driver’s license

Desirable

  • Cert IV in Frontline Management or equivalent
  • Cert IV in Workforce Training and Assessment
  • Degree in Health and Human Services
