The Community Care division are recruiting passionate Mental Health Disability Support workers in Sydney Inner West to provide care and support to people who live with disabilities.

This is a casual role - it will involve casual shifts only, with the opportunity of ongoing shifts for the right candidate. We are also a national company and we can support the transfer of the role to other states.  We also have 24/7 telephone support,  a comprehensive APP to streamline your payroll and availabilty and a dedicated Consultant to work along with you and your client.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care and various workshop activities
• Supporting & promoting each clients independence to achieve their goals
• Assisting with manual handling 

Essential criteria:

• 6+ months paid experience in supporting clients with mental health disabilities 
• You MUST have verifiable experience using manual handling equipment
• Availability for causal work 
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate 
• Current driver's license
• Current Police Check
• Working with Children Check

Desirable criteria: 

• Experience working with all age groups in disabilities
