About the role
This vital role provides vocational and professional counselling services to job seekers to remove significant employment barriers and improve outcomes. You will work with individuals and groups in ongoing case management including assessments, developing and monitoring plans, conducting workshops and supporting our staff to achieve client goals and business objectives.
About you
You must hold a degree or graduate diploma in social work, behavioural or social science, rehabilitation counselling or other allied health field with practice registrations or professional membership if required. You should have experience with evidence-based practice models and a communication style which builds rapport and understands the challenging behaviours or barriers of clients. You work with the team to achieve positive job seeker outcomes.
Flexibility with regard to hours can be negotiated with the successful candidate, and we will accept applications from those wanting to work on a full time or part time basis.
A National Police check and DCSI child related employment screening check is required upon commencement of this role. A drivers licence is also essential.
