About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Officer for our Communities for Children Program based in our Mt Isa office. In this role, you will be responsible for all operational aspects of the Communities for Children Program, including contract reporting and financial management responsibilities. You will liaise with the Department of Social Services to negotiate and manage Community Partner contracts as well as the day to day responsibilities of these contracts. You will:
- Take the lead in the operational management of the program as the facilitating partner
- Monitor all reporting requirement and ensure that community partners are compliant within their service
- Undertake the lead role in project coordination and management
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- A working knowledge of contract management and renewal.
- You will have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to obtain a Blue and Yellow card and hold a current C class diver license
