About the role

Primary focus is on implementation of professional and evidence-based practice and driving consistent compliance with contractual requirements, standards, policies and service quality frameworks. Enhance the professional skills and competencies of service delivery staff and the leadership team within Queensland whilst helping to build an organisational culture that delivers in the provision of quality, ethical, accountable service responses for vulnerable individuals, families and communities.

What you will bring

  • Extensive experience understanding large service organisations and human services quality frameworks and demonstrated experience in enabling change within work teams to improve outcomes for clients and communities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in professional practice supervision and understanding of relevant practice frameworks and application through the strengths based approach
  • Able to demonstrate clear practice frameworks and boundaries knowledge and able to provide support through reflective practice
  • Demonstrated experience in supervision of highly vulnerable and complex caseloads across multidisciplinary funding and frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience in leading human services projects using sound project management disciplines and managing stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish positive and constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, staff and clients
  • Knowledge of legislative and policy environment in Queensland and experience in ensuring compliance with legislation, industry standards, internal policy and best practice
  • Experience working within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse people
  • A current driver’s licence
