Due to a significant restructure, Foundations Care Ltd (NGO) is seeking to appoint a new Practice Managers in Central Queensland to lead therapeutic practice to achieve Intensive Foster Care program outcomes for children and young people with low-complex needs who receive out of home care.

The Therapeutic Practice Manager – Intensive Foster Care program position is a key leadership, management and practice position, operating under management level Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The role has a strong focus on directly supporting and mentoring a team of professional casework and support staff to support specialist carers achieve goals for children and young people in out of home care. The position is also directly responsible for managing the operations of the Intensive Foster Care program across the Central Queensland regions within which we operate.   

You will be a professionally qualified individual with significant practice experience in a relevant field. Operating under a strong clinical governance model, you will lead a team of independent practitioners within a specified regional geographic area to deliver contract outcomes. You will oversee the clinical quality and validity of services, leading by best practice example and be willing to provide hands-on support in situations of complexity or where team members are absent. You will be an enthusiastic and competent manager and leader demonstrating core capability in team financial and human resource management. Familiarity with relevant QLD legislation, standards, quality parameters and OOHC/Foster Care business practices are highly desirable.

We can offer a full-time role at frontline practice-management level, management supervision and opportunity for career development, a base salary from $80k plus superannuation and full salary sacrifice opportunities, relevant IT and corporate finance support, the opportunity to access flexible work arrangements including work from home – on negotiation. This role will require travel within the regions of CQ.
