About NADO

NADO is a community-based charity organization that supports people with disabilities, their families and carers in the Nepean region including the Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains, Penrith suburbs and surrounding areas.

 

About this Role

The Client Engagement Officer is an integral part of the NADO team, supporting people to implement their NDIS plans through the functions of Support Coordination and Plan Implementation, in compliance with the Disability Inclusion Act NSW 2014 and associated National Disability Standards.

 

What we are looking for

Experience:

  • Experience of NDIS processes
  • Demonstrate knowledge in delivering the expected level of services with the ability to manage the financial aspects in particular participants’ expenditures processes and accountabilities
  • Manage planning implementation with follow-up on the performance of the workforce involved in the process including supervision, coaching and mentoring
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within available timeframes, including the reporting mechanism to monitor the progress pipeline.
  • Experience in compliance with legislation and award requirements

Skills

  • Engagement leadership in both complex and simple terms
  • Professional verbal and written communication and customer service skills including interpersonal and relationship management with the capability to use negotiation, delegation and influencing abilities
  • Problem solving with the ability to think outside the box and create expected solutions with positive outcomes
