About the Role
An exciting and unique opportunity to cultivate strong relationships with CARE’s most generous supporters, including major and long-term funders as well as Trustees.
The position will develop and implement strategies to personally steward donors and grow income from Trusts and Foundations, Private Ancillary Funds (PAFs), and Major Givers.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the financial and non-financial performance of the Trust and Foundation fundraising program
- Responsible for sourcing and securing new funding opportunities for new and lapsed donors
- Develop strong proposals, pitches, cases for support, and quality reports to update funders
- Keep abreast with latest trends of philanthropy in Australia
Ideally you will have
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing engagement strategies for fundraising and stewardship
- Demonstrated experience in working with Major Donors, Trusts and foundations and success in fundraising
- Demonstrated ability to establish and manage budgets, donor pipelines and regular reporting to senior management
- Exceptional relationship management skills and proven ability to develop productive, results-focused relationships with funders and key decision makers.
- Exceptional written communication skills and extensive experience in successful grant and proposal writing
