Our client, Suncare Community Services, is a Queensland based not-for-profit community services organisation offering quality in-home, community and respite care for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

The Job
Due to rapid growth our client has multiple part time and casual vacancies available in Moreton Bay, North Brisbane, western suburbs, inner North and West Brisbane and South Brisbane.
Roles in the Sunshine Coast are also available.
Support Workers:
- Support customers to live as independently as possible by assisting them with planned and goal oriented tasks.
- Are flexible, responsive and knowledgeable to work with customers who are aged, have a disability, have a mental illness, are in a caring role, or experience age related illness, including dementia.
- Deliver services in a safe and respectful manner whilst promoting the independence and dignity of the customer.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality of thecustomer.
- Assist with a variety of tasks within the home environment or within the local community including social, domestic and personal support.
The People
Our client is seeking people who align with our vision and values, are passionate about caring for vulnerable people, and who are flexible, good communicators and team players. Both male and female support worker positions are available. Background screening will be undertaken for all candidates as required for working with vulnerable people. We will assist you to obtain:
- National Police Certificate
- A Blue Card with a Yellow Card exemption.
Qualifications and Experience
A relevant industry qualification and/or experience is highly regarded.
Nursing and other students undertaking relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
