ABI Services has been providing support to people with an Acquired Brain Injury in the community for over 30 years. We are the largest specialist ABI support service in NSW and our knowledge and experience ensure our clients get the best supports to live their life how they choose.
We are currently hiring Community Support Workers in the Hills District, Penrith, Hornsby and North Shore, to join our team of support service professionals and help make a difference in someone's life.
Essential Criteria:
- Car Drivers Licence.
- Utilisation of own Motor Vehicle (allowance payable).
- Smart mobile phone
- First Aid Certificate (if not, willing to obtain one).
- Current National Police Check (if not, willing to obtain one).
- Working with Children Check (if not, willing to obtain one).
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in supporting people with disabilities.(not required but desirable)
- Knowledge of Disability Service Standards and Disability Services Act
- Relevant qualifications or experience working with people with an acquired brain injury. (not required but desirable)
- Experience in personal care or willingness to learn.
- Compassionate and motivational individuals
