Centacare is looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and thrive in a busy team environment! If you are client-focused, reliable and have excellent communication skills this is the role for you.

The Koorie Engagement Worker will provide case management to victims of violent crime and work closely with local Koorie organisations and develop strong working relationships with other Koorie support workers from a range of agencies and organisations to promote awareness of the Victims Assistance Program and improve referral pathways to victims of crime.  

If you have relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Welfare or other relevant studies, sound knowledge of the VAP and service sector, demonstrated experience of case management principles and practice including strong data entry and record keeping skills, you are encouraged to apply for this great role.

This is a designated Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander position as directed by the Department of Justice and Regulation, therefore applicants must be of Australian Aboriginal descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait islander person and be accepted by the local Aboriginal communities as an Aboriginal person.
