Aveo, a leading retirement village owner/operator is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and pro-active Service Co-ordinator to work on a casual basis across our Aveo VIC South Communities
About the role:
The Service Co-ordinator will be required to provide general administration support to the Retirement Living Community Manager and ensure the safety and security of residents by performing delegated duties and to undertake housekeeping and domestic cleaning duties. Flexibility across all shifts is vital, to assist overall village operations!
You will ensure resident's safety, security, dignity, privacy and well-being at all times, actively contribute to the promotion of best practice in OH &S and continuous quality improvement, and promote the culture and philosophies of Aveo Live Well.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Police Check clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Experience working with senior Australians or aged care (advantageous)
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to work within OH&S and a continuous improvement environment
- Excellent cleaning skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a multi-tasking, multi-skilled work environment
- Trustworthy, pleasant and outgoing demeanour
- Reliable, flexible approach to rostering.
