We have an opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to lead manage and coordinate our clients Active Living Centres and outreach programs. You will be a natural manager of people with 14 direct reports. You will report to the Manager of Support Services.
The Active Living Centre programs will promote healthy living and aging with a focus on engagement and re-ablement. Developing and growing services to the community that are evidence based, relevant and current for the elderly and for younger recipients as well. You must be aware of the evolution and utilisation of programs which will be engaging people in a positive way and an awareness of funding mechanisms for these services and financial modelling.
The Team Leader must be aligned with the values of the organisation bringing diversity & inclusion, respect & dignity to all, working together to strengthen community.
Team Leader Profile:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Human Services, Nursing, Allied Health or Health Management
- Experience delivering programs in a community setting
- Demonstrated experience in the recruitment and people management
- A dynamic personality able to motivate staff and provide leadership
- Excellent communications skills – written and verbal
- Current National Police Check
