We are looking for expressions of interests to work as a Support Workers in the Wheatbelt area.  We are looking for candidates whose values align with ours, strive for excellence and are passionate in providing the best possible service to people with a disability. Our Community Living staff encourage clients and their families to have choice and control over their services, achieve their goals in their individual plans including improved wellbeing, healthier relationships, participation in their chosen community and independence.

Snapshot of the role:

• Flexible part time and casual positions available
• Promoting the health and wellbeing of those you assist at all times
• Work closely with clients and their family and healthcare professionals to provide best possible service to the individual
• Supporting clients in their home and out in the community
• Help clients achieve their personal goals
• Available shifts are:
  • 2:00pm to 8:00pm 7 days/week.
  • Overnight shifts Wednesdays to Sundays.
  • NO day shifts required - only night shifts and overnight shifts.

Essential Criteria:

• An ability and willingness to participate and support people in a range of social and leisure activities, including visits to the casino
• Hold a current Australian Drivers License.
• An ability to use a computer to access emails and the internet
• An ability and willingness to provide personal care to people who need it including support with dressing and toileting

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience working with a person living with a disability
