In line with the pivotal change in the Australian health and community services sector, Australian Unity is experiencing a significant period of growth. To support client service delivery and business objectives an opportunity is now available for a client and solutions focussed Home Care Coordinator to join the Temora office team to service clients in the Cootamundra area.

 

The Home Care Coordinator is responsible to support and build strong relationships with clients and immediate family members regarding their home care package budget and customer experience.

                                                                                               

Deliverables:                                                       

  • Recruitment and on boarding of staff, training and ongoing support.

  • Support a team of care workers for a designated geographic remit.

  • Build warm and trusted working relationships with the client, their families and third party bodies.

  • Consult, negotiate and offer “win” “win” solutions to clients around services, expectation’s on deliver of services and budgeting process of care package.

  • Comply at all times to industry governance and internal policies

  • Attend community workshops, industry networking events to promote our brand.

  • Lead by example, initiate collaboration and build internal stakeholder relationships with peers.

     

     

    About you:

  • An advocate in providing quality service to clients.

  • Ideally experienced supervising a team of staff with a successful retention rate.

  • Proficient in the use of multiple technology platforms ie: CRM, billing and procurement systems.

  • Quick learner, enjoy challenging yourself with new concepts and ideas.

  • Proven ability balancing people leadership with business crucial demands.

  • Ability to work in an evolving environment and ambiguity.

  • Good communicator, excellent rapport building skills.

  • Solutions focussed individual, proven ability dissolving arising issues instantly.

  • Ideally experienced being responsible for the operations budget, meeting the objective.

  • Industry experience in community services will be highly regarded but not essential.
