Wellways HealthCall is currently seeking casual Community Support Workers / Disability Support Workers for our clients in Cootamundra.
The successful worker will be someone with the flexibility to work short and long shifts. The work will include different shift types - personal and domestic care, shopping and transports, social activity.
The shifts available are 8am-11am and 9pm-10pm.
Essential:
- First Aid Certificate.
- Personal Care experience
- Experience in aged care, mental health & disabilities.
- Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
- Practical, active and caring personality.
- Working with vulnerable people checks.
- Police clearance.
- Manual handling certification.
Desirable:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability or Community Services.
- Direct experience working with mental health clients with psychotic disorders. Qualifications would be a bonus.
- Open availability - not essential.
- Medication dispensing (Webster packs).
