This newly created role has come about due to a 3 year funding grant and will support the development of sector wide evidence based practice through piloting programs to support young people with a disability access work experience, and training.
This is ground breaking work and will suit an individual who brings previous program coordination or project management experience, knowledge of evidence based practice and the abilty to build outstanding stakeholder relationships with partners. This would suit an individual with a community development or health promotion background or alternatively you have have experience gained working in disability/ disability employment sector.
Key responsibilities will include
- The collection and management of data as applicable to program objectives
- The establishment and maintenance of strategic partnerships
- The development of resources, guiding material, literature and marketing collateral
- The coordination of pilot projects, including meeting milestones and reporting
Required knowledge and experience for this role
- Commitment to improving outcomes for young people with disability
- Practicable experience and knowledge of evidence based practice in school based development outcomes.
- Career guidance and familiarity within a recognised disability employment service
- Proven experience working strategically and collaboratively to achieve outcomes.
- Highly developed time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
