Sunnyfield currently has 2 Part Time opportunities of 40 and 50 hours per fortnight for Community Support Workers to join our group home in Kensington.

About the Role:

• Supporting 3 active male clients (2 young adults and 1 under 18yo) with their morning and evening routines as well as outings in the community.
• Morning, afternoons, weekend and awake night shifts available.
• It is a supportive house with monthly team meetings and monthly one to one catch ups.

Your role will be to actively support and promote a quality of life for people with a disability by providing quality services using person centered approaches that focus on developing a person's potential to participate as independently as possible within their home and the community.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• At least 12 months experience in the disability sector. Ideally have experience in supporting people with Autism
• A contemporary attitude towards people with a disability
• Creative ideas in supporting people with a disability to be included in the community
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Professionalism, positivity & flexibility
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team - being pro active
• Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including evenings & weekends
• Comprehensively insured car & valid NSW drivers licence
