Are you an experienced and passionate Family Violence worker wanting to make a difference in your local community?

 

An exciting and challenging opportunity exists to work with Gippsland's largest therapeutic family violence perpetrator service in the role of Partner Contact Worker (Perpetrator Services).

 

The position requires a person who possesses strong communication and organisational skills, counselling skills, and is committed to client focused service delivery to engage in a multi-disciplinary approach to health care.

 

The worker will provide the initial contact with the partner and children of the men referred to the Perpetrator’s Case Management Program (PCMP) and Men’s Behaviour Change Program (MBCP),  they will also provide assessment; develop safety plans with the women and children, and make referrals to relevant services both internal and external when appropriate.
