Breast Cancer Trials (BCT) is a group of world-leading breast cancer doctors and researchers committed to exploring and finding better treatments for people affected by breast cancer. In the 40 years we have conducted trials, we have saved the lives of millions of people affected by breast cancer; however, our job is not done and we need an exceptional person to continue the journey with us.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Supporter Care Officer to join BCT in our head office in Newcastle as part of our Supporter Care Team.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver an exceptional, personalised experience for our supporters to engage, motivate and recognise their contribution to research progress.
- Administer all aspects of supporter care including processing and receipting of donations, order fulfilment, event registrations and queries, incoming and outgoing mail, liaison with supporters, stock count and stationery ordering and ledger reconciliation.
- Actively look for opportunities to improve processes and enhance the supporter journey.
- Manage reception, answer the phone and direct enquiries.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A combination of relevant work experience coupled with high level administration training/qualifications.
- Be a natural enthusiast on the phone and an all-round team player.
- High level computer skills using a range of software applications.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as professional etiquette.
- Meticulous attention to detail and highly organised.
- The ability to work effectively in a team as well as autonomously.
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and a commitment to the Australian Privacy Principles.
