Job tasks and responsibilities
You will be required to provide project support to CCPC clients with funded packages under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Key responsibilities are to assist and support the NDIS team to manage:
- Enquiries regarding NDIS services
- NDIS administrative systems and roster support staff
- Book therapeutic appointments
- Software and databases
- On call roster
- Invoicing and data management
Criteria
- Extensive demonstrated high level administrative experience Understanding of NDIS support items under the NDIS Guidelines.
- Certificate IV level qualification in Mental Health, Community Services, health, disabilities or equivalent
- Knowledge of issues experienced by people with disabilities (inclusive of psycho-social disability), their families and carers. This should include people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) and from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds
- Ability to identify, prioritise and manage multiple tasks in an environment of competing demands
- Demonstrated experience with developing and using databases and software
- Demonstrated experience working independently and as a team member
- Demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with clients, services providers and other organisations
- Current NSW driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured and reliable motor vehicle
- National Police Check including working with vulnerable groups less than twelve months old
- Current Working with Children Check
