About the Position

The Program Manager Community Engagement will be creative, innovating and have experience working within a mental health service.  The role of the headspace Darwin Program Manager Community Engagement is to provide strong leadership and project management across a number of specialised services, maintain and strengthen relationships with internal (including the headspace Darwin Consortium) and external stakeholders.

This position is a six months fixed term contract to backfill the current incumbent.  To be successful for this role you will have a Certificate IV in Project Management, Mental Health, Community Engagement and/or related area and at least five years experience in health and community services. Demonstrated leadership and management skills, experience in implementing an Individual Placement Support Model or other evidence-based employment model within a community mental health setting desirable.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess an Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
