Disability Services Australia (DSA) Complex Solutions Program supports adults with a disability and/ or complex needs ( some of whom have had involvement with the Criminal Justice System) . Our program In Tamworth is to support our clients to live independently, to reach their full potential and be included in their local community . We provide this support 24/7.
Our Mentors play a key role in reducing the risk of clients re-offending, improving our clients social and life skills and work to a therapeutic model of support.
Our Ideal Mentors will , previous experience in a related community based role or studying a related course , a non judgmental approach to people who have a offending backgrounds, the availability to work a variety of shifts, a Current Driver's Licence (minimum Green P Plates) is a requirement of this position,.
