About the role
The Team Leader, Private Rental Access Program reports to the IAP Manager. PRAP builds on the homelessness services provided by our IAP (Initial Assessment & Planning) team.
The main responsibilities of the Team Leader are to assist people to secure and maintain private rental housing, develop relationships with Real Estate Agents, distribute flexible packages of financial assistance and oversee our head leasing programs.
The PRAP worker will be required to travel to the two main sites at Seddon and Werribee.
About you
To fill this position, we are seeking staff who:
- Is able to lead a dynamic team in assisting people who are homeless to access the private rental market by securing new tenancies.
- can coordinate exciting and innovative head leasing programs.
- is able to lead and assist in the delivery of private rental access programs in a high-volume service in one of Melbourne’s largest growing regions.
- is positive, committed, good communicator, well organised, pro-active, person centred.
- Has experience as a Property Manager in the inner west and Wyndham region (preferred)
On Offer
- Full-time, fixed term for 12 months
- Salary $76,135.28 (plus super, salary packaging and 17.5% leave loading)
- 5 weeks annual leave
- Rostered day off option
