The Organisation:
Our client is a multi-sited community health service providing a comprehensive range of health, early childhood and community services.
  
The Role:
Reporting to the Community Engagement Manager, you will work with families, key community stakeholders, service providers and a passionate internal team to raise awareness and understanding of NDIS ECEI approach and to build more inclusive communities. The Community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of community capacity building, engagement and awareness activities. 

This role will be pivotal to strengthening community inclusion and capacity building opportunities for children with developmental delay or disability.
  
The Candidate:
To be successful in this role you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in health promotion, community development, communications, early childhood teaching, allied health or related discipline.
• Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the needs of families and children with a disability.
• At least five years’ experience preferably in a similar role
• Exceptional experience in engaging, supporting and building community engagement and relationships.
• Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment and independently as required.

Additional Knowledge of or experience in Community Health sector regarded.
A current Police Check, Working with Children Check, Victorian Driver Licence, and registered motor vehicle are essential.

The offer:
This role is a full-time position and will attract a salary package of up to $87,600, inclusive of superannuation.
