As the Early Childhood Intervention Services Manager, you will have the opportunity to work in an established, beautiful purpose-built centre, located in Burwood, Sydney with a organisation that is celebrating 65 years of quality service and supports to children, teens and adults with disabilities.
  
The role

As the Early Childhood Intervention Services Manager, you will develop and lead a highly engaged team inclusive of a dedicated student led model, enhancing the lives of the infants and children that access the service. Joining a collaborative network committed to employing best practice across the early childhood intervention space.

The team will provide early intervention services for children with a development delay and/or disability and their families in a playgroup setting.
You will bring your strong clinical skills as an Occupational Therapist to delivery initial intake and assessments, to provide short-term early intervention therapies, identify strengths and promote positive family relationships.

Eurella are looking for a hands on Manager who is excited by the opportunity and challenge, to grow and shape an innovative student led early childhood intervention service in collaboration with their academic partners at The University of Sydney.

This opportunity is available full-time for 12 months with a contract extension based on performance outcomes.
  
To have success in this role you will;
You will be an effective leader with the ability to listen and inspire, building positive partnerships with children, families, students and key stakeholders exhibiting high interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Be a registered occupational therapist with 3 years paediatric experience in one or more relevant areas of practice (acute, rehabilitation or community).
  • Have a good understanding of best practice early childhood intervention models within the NDIS space, promoting a family centred and strengths based and person centred active support model.
  • Experience managing and prioritising strategic and operational responsibilities
  • Be an effective instructional leader with previous experience in student education including an ability to embed a culture of high expectation of student learning
  • Participate in strategic leadership focusing on excellence, innovation and change, and an ability to design and implement high leverage plans.
  • Ensure that financial resources are efficiently managed, including ongoing compliance with the NDIS Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
  • Develop positive relationships with children; parents and families; colleagues, The University of Sydney academic partners and the wider community.
  • Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication; along with developed partnership, networking and negotiation skills
  • Have well developed computer literacy, skills in the Microsoft Office suite and internet
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Have a valid WWCC and willingness to undertake a national police check as part of the reemployment checks
