Colville Place
Residential Support Worker – Part Time
Colville Place is a 24-hour youth short term accommodation service for young people aged between 12 and 15 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The primary focus will be stabilising immediate crisis; reuniting residents with family wherever possible, engaging or re-engaging with schools and services and, where family reunification is not possible, exiting to appropriate medium to longer term accommodation.
Colony 47 is excited to offer the following position at Colville Place:
Residential Support Worker: We require an experienced worker to fill the sleepover/evening component of Colville Place. The successful applicant will have the skills to promote a nurturing and trusting environment, and support young people to build their life and living skills, develop emotional resilience and enhance interpersonal skills.
This role will be on a part time basis, approximately 20 hours per week. The salary will be as per the SCHCADS Award 2010, level 5.1.
