Casual Disability Support Worker
Devereux Recruitment are a specialist recruitment and staffing provider in the Health & Community Care industry. We are currently seeking committed Disability Support Workers for casual work across a number of sites in Melbourne.
We support individuals directly in the community, and also provide relief staff to a number of disability organisations.
About the role
We are looking for fun, energetic people, to work as part of our team, using a person-centred approach to enable consistent professional and individualised support for people in the community setting. Your role may include community outings, recreational activities, personal care and company for the individual.
We have a number of shifts available, which includes morning, evenings and weekends, We also have a number of desirable shifts for day centres available.
What you will need
• Cert IV in Disability/Individual Support/Aged Care qualification
• 2 reference checks.
• Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to customer care is a must together with great communication skills.
• Current full driver's license and a reliable, comprehensively insured car (desirable).
• Current police check
• Current CPR
